Little tangles challenge #44 - sketch

Hi there,

Well, today I am sharing a card I have made for the challenge going on over at the awesome Neat and Tangled blog, Little Tangles...but quickly before I get into that, I have got some awesome news to share...I won 'heroine' status over at 'A blog named hero' for my Ombre card :) :) :) I am sooooo chuffed!!!  Ahem, ahem, so in any case, where was I, oh yes, the delightful Little Tangles Challenge...which this time, is a sketch, and you can find all the deets here...

And here's my card...

I started by inking up my panel with distress inks (Tumbled glass, Broken china, & Chipped Sapphire), making sure to leave the centre lighter as I wanted to create a 'galaxy' effect.  I misted and flicked water and white acrylic paint onto it to help with the effect, and then stamped it with this A-MAAAA-ZING 'Time Warp' stamp from Neat & Tangled.  This has got to be one of THE coolest stamps EVER!!!  It just screams Starwars, right?  Now in some peoples world, that might mean quite the opposite of cool haha,  but in mine it means, awesome!!!!  I heat embossed the stamp in silver and added a load of little stars from the 'Sparkle & shine' set, also heat embossing them all in silver.  At the same time, I covered some little wood veneer stars in the same powder, and added them to the front to give some dimension.  I then stamped my whole card front in stripes and clear embossed to give a tone on tone effect for some added interest.  My sentiment is from Hero Arts and it's like these stamps were made for each other!  I stamped it out onto vellum and, again, heat embossed in silver and cut into a little banner.  I embellished with a few silver sequins to give the galaxy some extra 'umph' and there you have it.

I am really pleased with how this card came out, like I say, I just think that Time warp stamp is unreal and can't wait to use it again :)

As always, please feel free to leave a comment, see you soon.
